We were thrilled to be invited to participate in the Hamptons Designer Showcase for Traditional Home Magazine benefitting the Kips Bay Boys & Girls Club. Starting with a small, square room with no windows, architectural details, or natural charm of any sort, we transformed it into a Reading Lounge suitable for anyone seeking escape from the hustle and bustle of modern life. The design is all about the mix, marrying vintage pieces with modern ones in a sophisticated pairing. We mixed beach with city; old with new; and added layers of texture to create a fresh yet soft beach-y palette.
