Design is about vision and being able to reimagine possibilities. This project began with a dark and dated diamond in the rough and Mary transformed it into an elegant, comfortable retreat by building each room around items special enough to inspire an entire design motif. It is a showcase for illustrating her design philosophy of mixing the unexpected with the traditional, and layering modern elements with antiques to create balance and interest, with the result being a home that feels both curated and timeless. The goal is always to create a space that feels inviting and that draws people in both visually and physically.
